Surfaces
Concave surface (K)
The most common surface of moulded GRP-gratings is the concave surface. It results during the manufacturing process due to the curing of the liquid resin. Depending on the thickness of the bars and the meshspacing the non-skid valuation classes R12 and R13 are reached. The concave surface qualifies for all industrial applications where slippery substances (oil, grease) are used. If needed, it is easy to clean
Corundum-gritted surface (KB)
The corundum-gritted surface is also a standard surface. The corundum is attached after the manufacturing process by applying a resin.Independent from the thickness of the bars and the meshspacing the highest possible non-skid valuation class R13 is reached. The corundum-gritted surface qualifies for industrial applications in mainly wet/damp environment. The cleanability under permanent contamination with oily/greasy substances is limited.
Quartz-gritted surface (QB)
A quartz-gritted surface is available on demand. The quartz is attached after the manufacturing process by applying a resin. It stands out due to a high slip resistance.Depending on the thickness of the bars and meshspacing the non-skid valuation classes R12 and R13 are reached. The quartz-gritted surface qualifies for public and/or shoeless accessible areas in mainly wet/damp environment. The cleanability under permanent contamination with oily/greasy substances is limited.
Smooth surface (GS)
A smooth surface is available on demand. After processing the GRP grating the surface is grinded smooth and sealed afterwards. This surface mainly focuses on easy cleanability and the possibility to provide shoeless access applying at suitable mesh size.Independent from the thickness of the bars and the meshspacing the non-skid valuation class R10 is reached. In special applications the grinding can provide an exactly defined construction height of the grating. Decorative applications of moulded GRP gratings, e.g. banisters or cover panels of facades, are preferable realized applying this kind of surface.
Corundum-gritted surface (KB)
The corundum-gritted surface is also a standardized surface. The corundum is attached after the manufacturing process by applying a resin. Independent from the distance of the bars, the highest possible non-skid valuation class R13 is reached. The corundum-gritted surface qualifies for industrial applications in mainly wet/damp environment. The cleanability under permanent contamination with oily/greasy substances is limited.

Corrugated surface (PR))
A (longitudinally) corrugated surface is available for selected bar heights. The focus hereby mainly lies on visible demands and the possibility of easy cleaning. Independent from the distance of the bars and the thickness of the bars the non-skid valuation class R10 is reached.
Corundum-gritted surface (KB)
The corundum-gritted surface is also a standardized surface. The corundum is attached after the manufacturing process by applying a resin. Corundum-gritted surface (KB)
The corundum-gritted surface is the standardized surface for GRP safety floorings, GRP safety flooring panels and GRP sandwich gratings. The corundum is attached after the manufacturing process of the safety flooring by applying a resin. There is extra protection of the surface with the help of a gel coating. The highest possible non-skid valuation class R13 is reached. The corundum-gritted surface qualifies for industrial applications in mainly wet/damp environment. The cleanability under permanent contamination with oily/greasy substances is limited.
Surface teardrop solo (STS)
The surface teardrop solo is available on demand. The surface is manufactured by using a corresponding negative form when laminating the GRP panel. The height of the structure is ca. 0.1 mm. The non-skid valuation class R10 is reached. This surface mainly focuses on easy cleanability and the possibility to provide shoeless access. We recommend to use this kind of surface mainly in indoor areas.
Surface teardrop quintett (STQ)
The surface teardrop quintett is available on demand. The surface is manufactured by using a corresponding negative form when laminating the GRP panel. The height of the structure is ca. 0.7 mm. The non-skid valuation class R11 is reached. Again, this surface mainly focuses on easy cleanability and the possibility to provide shoeless access. According to a higher non-skid valuation industrial applications in indoor areas are possible.
